Devonte’ Graham
Devonte’ Graham has signed a one year deal with the Trail Blazers, as he will compete for a rotation spot on a time that features Anfernee Simons, Scoot Henderson and Shaedon Sharpe playing in a guard position. Graham suited up just 23 times last season but is most known for being a 18 point per game guy with the Hornets in 2020, though he has never shot above 40% from the field.
Precious Achiuwa
Precious Achiuwa resigned to a one year deal to return to the New York Knicks. This could end up being a huge signing for the Knicks as they lost Isaiah Hartenstein in free agency and their bigs have been critiqued. Achiuwa started 18 games for the Knicks last year and averaged 7.6 points and 7.2 rebounds in 49 appearances.
Expert Analysis
What are the ‘experts’ saying?
“The Miami Heat were in the NBA Finals 13 months ago, had a shaky regular season coming off of that, got trebucheted out of the playoffs by the champion Celtics and ... have extended Bam Adebayo, signed Alec Burks to replace Caleb Martin, re-signed Haywood Highsmith and Kevin Love and taken their draft picks? That's it? Is this a team that considers itself a legitimate contender or not?”
Tom Ziller and Royce Webb, 5x5
“The single-most popular number of the three-point era is, appropriately, No. 3, which edged out No. 5 by one single player: 319 different players have worn No. 5 since 1980, while 320 players have worn No. 3.”
